New figures reveal worrying increase of amputations in England New figures from Public Health England (PHE) show that the number of diabetes-related amputations in England has reached a record high of 20 a day.
The firm has raised €600,000 to develop and commercialise an internet-connected device which scans a person’s foot to predict the formation of, and detection of diabetic foot ulcers.
